How to measure for Perfect Fit blinds

Remember to only measure the glass size for the width and drop, using a steel tape measure.

    Perfect Fit Drop

    Step One

Measure the drop of the glass at the left side, the middle and the right side, and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Perfect Fit Width

    Step Two

Measure the width of the glass at the top, the middle and the bottom and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Perfect Fit Clearance

    Step Three

Check that you have at least 2.5cm of clearance all the way around the window, to allow enough room for the frame (which overlaps the window by 2.5cm).

Key areas to check are around the handles and vents, making sure that the distance between the edge of the handle/vent and the edge of the glass is at least 2.5cm.

If less than this, unfortunately this blind type will not be suitable for your window.

    Note on Perfect Fit Shutters

    Perfect Fit Shutter Handle Rebate

Perfect Fit Shutters are supplied with a recessed handle space as illustrated above, but you would still require this distance between the glass and any other obstructions such as window vents.

    Perfect Fit Frame Colours

Please review the frame colour options below and then select your choice from the drop down menu when placing your order. Please note as of February 5th 2025, we have changed our Perfect Fit system over to a new sleek curved design.

To measure the depth of your window you will need:

    - A ruler or steel tape measure

    - A debit card or other small, flat, rigid card

Step 1 - Place your card flat against the window frame, overhanding the glass

Step 2 - Place the ruler's end up to the glass as shown below

Step 3 - Note down the measurement where the card touches the ruler.

Clear measuring instructions on the website with options to choose. The blinds were delivered and fitted perfectly as a reasult. I chose the light excluding fabric for the bathroom and that works well.

I had previously ordered from Order Blinds and wanted to change my look in the bathroom. Before orders by I contacted them to see if they could advise me of the correct sizing. They did more than that. They found my previous invoice and sent it over to me so I had the perfect template. They were fantastic. Would not hesitate to order again. Thank you!
