    How to measure for Perfect Fit blinds

    Remember to only measure the glass size for the width and drop, using a steel tape measure.

    Perfect Fit Drop

    Step One

    Measure the drop of the glass at the left side, the middle and the right side, and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Measure the width of the glass at the top, the middle and the bottom and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Perfect Fit Clearance

    Step Three

    Check that you have at least 2.5cm of clearance all the way around the window, to allow enough room for the frame (which overlaps the window by 2.5cm).

    Key areas to check are around the handles and vents, making sure that the distance between the edge of the handle/vent and the edge of the glass is at least 2.5cm.

    If less than this, unfortunately this blind type will not be suitable for your window.

    Light Filtering

    Our light filtering base cloth is made from what is often termed as ‘dim out’ or 'daylight' fabric.

    It gives complete privacy while still allowing some light to filter through, lending your room a fresh, bright feel.

    A great choice for many rooms, this fabric is often used in living rooms, studies, kitchens and hallways or sometimes in bedrooms alongside curtains to provide a blackout effect.

    Alternatively you can choose to have your blind made from our fully opaque blackout fabric.

    This style still gives complete privacy but doesn’t let any light filter through the fabric, making it ideal for bedrooms.

    Please note that due to the nature of a roller blind system, some light will leak through at the edges of your blackout blind where the fabric doesn’t cover the window.

    To measure the depth of your window you will need:

    - A ruler or steel tape measure

    - A debit card or other small, flat, rigid card

     

    Step 1 - Place your card flat against the window frame, overhanding the glass

    Step 2 - Place the ruler's end up to the glass as shown below

    Step 3 - Note down the measurement where the card touches the ruler.

    The fabric options offered have been carefully selected to suit drops all the way up to 205cm. The material options are also functional featuring a white backing for a clean and smart look from the outside when the blinds are closed. The blackout option in particular provides a level of thermal insulation and ensures that no light passes through for great brightness control in your room.

    Blind Features:

    No drilling required for installation. Please note, these blinds are suitable only for uPVC windows with rubber beading, as the brackets slide neatly between the glass pane and the beading. They are not suitable for wooden or sash windows.

    As the blind is fitted to the glass and not the wall or frame of the door, the door can still be operated fully when the blind is installed. Please be aware that the top cassette protrudes into the room approximately 4.5cm so sliding or folding doors may not be suitable for this product.

    It is easy to install and fits securely in the window. However, it is much longer than the specified measurement.

Our customer service team has contacted you by email to understand the issue in more detail and help resolve it. From the photo you shared, it looks like the blind fits correctly at the top. If your concern relates to the drop length, we do include an additional 30cm of fabric to ensure it can fully wrap around the roller tube, when the blind has been lowered the drop ordered. As it’s a chain-operated blind, you can also stop it at any point to achieve your desired drop. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.     Replacement slats are lovely material and just the right opaqueness I required. The only snag was with the top hook inserts were a different size to my original blinds and I could not use my original tops as the new ones won’t come out. They are fixed in far too tightly so we were unable to remove them and had to snap a piece out of everyone of the 30 top fixings. So a warning to others when ordering replacements doublecheck your top fixings as I had no idea there were different ones.

    Very poor and we’ve Worse customer service tried to blame me for the colour being wrong and the print to over pixelated on my custom Blind. Wouldn’t recommend you using them they my proof was out of focus and grey why not then ask for a new photo to use because what I authorised was exactly what i wanted black back ground with beautiful flowers on they are saying I authorized grey and blurry flowers who in there right mind would do that

The image file provided was low resolution, which meant the preview showed visible pixelation and a softer, grey-toned background rather than a solid black. This was clearly illustrated in the proof we supplied. The purpose of this proof is to ensure customers can see the exact expected result before production and request changes or provide an alternative image if they are not satisfied. We did not proceed with manufacturing until we received your approval confirming that you were happy for us to produce the blind as shown. Your order was then manufactured exactly in line with the approved proof. As the blind has been produced as approved and is not faulty, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement in this case. We are always happy to assist customers with image suitability before approval and encourage anyone with concerns to contact us so we can help achieve the best possible finish.
