    Identify Your Velux Window

    To locate your skylight window blind code:

    1. Open the window and locate your data plate on the inside edge. It will look like one of the plates shown above.
    2. There will normally be a prefix such as GGL followed by a size code such as M04. Note down just the size code which you can select from the drop down box at the top of the page.

    (Older Velux windows only have a single digit size code for example a code 1 where your window was made before 1991. We make blinds to suit these windows too, simply select the code from our drop down box).

    If you can't find a data plate on your window you can match it up from the visible glass measurements by clicking here. Or feel free to give us a call and we can look up the code for you.

    Blind Features:


    • 3 Pass blackout thermal fabric which will insulate the room as well as offer maximum light reduction .

    • Polyester fabric with white acrylic backing to help reflect heat away keeping your room warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

    • Aluminium head box, side channels and bottom bar for the best possible coverage and 100% blackout.

    • Brushes along the bottom of the blind to ensure a tight fit when the blind is closed.

    • A light shield at the back of the roller creating 100% blackout.

    • Thermal brushes inserted into the side channels of the blind for additional thermal insulation.

    • Can be stopped in any position. (Unlike cheaper alternatives).

    • Easy to follow fitting instructions.

    Very poor and we’ve Worse customer service tried to blame me for the colour being wrong and the print to over pixelated on my custom Blind. Wouldn’t recommend you using them they my proof was out of focus and grey why not then ask for a new photo to use because what I authorised was exactly what i wanted black back ground with beautiful flowers on they are saying I authorized grey and blurry flowers who in there right mind would do that

    Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your blind. However, we would like to clarify the steps taken during your order. The image file provided was low resolution, which meant the preview showed visible pixelation and a softer, grey-toned background rather than a solid black. This was clearly illustrated in the proof we supplied. The purpose of this proof is to ensure customers can see the exact expected result before production and request changes or provide an alternative image if they are not satisfied. We did not proceed with manufacturing until we received your approval confirming that you were happy for us to produce the blind as shown. Your order was then manufactured exactly in line with the approved proof. As the blind has been produced as approved and is not faulty, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement in this case. We are always happy to assist customers with image suitability before approval and encourage anyone with concerns to contact us so we can help achieve the best possible finish.

    I could not be happier with my bedroom blackout blind! Order Blinds are one of the few companies that offer extra wide options and with side channels too, which is why I chose them. My tip is to take out the measurement insurance, as eventhough I measured many times....I was wrong! Sending a replacement was no trouble at all and the fitting of the blind is so easy - done in 20 minutes! My pictures are taken at the same time showing it open and closed. Thank you Order Blinds!

    I had a problem with the electric motor on one blind and was guided through the troubleshooting by Stacey who very patiently talked me through the problems which were largely due to my own installation. The problem appears to have been solved and has probably stopped the whole thing crashing down. I found the team to be very knowledgable and helpful and was advised that if there was a further problem not to hesitate to contact them.
