    How to measure for Perfect Fit blinds

    Remember to only measure the glass size for the width and drop, using a steel tape measure.

    Perfect Fit Drop

    Step One

    Measure the drop of the glass at the left side, the middle and the right side, and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Measure the width of the glass at the top, the middle and the bottom and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Perfect Fit Clearance

    Step Three

    Check that you have at least 2.5cm of clearance all the way around the window, to allow enough room for the frame (which overlaps the window by 2.5cm).

    Key areas to check are around the handles and vents, making sure that the distance between the edge of the handle/vent and the edge of the glass is at least 2.5cm.

    If less than this, unfortunately this blind type will not be suitable for your window.

    To measure the depth of your window you will need:

    - A ruler or steel tape measure

    - A debit card or other small, flat, rigid card

     

    Step 1 - Place your card flat against the window frame, overhanding the glass

    Step 2 - Place the ruler's end up to the glass as shown below

    Step 3 - Note down the measurement where the card touches the ruler.

    Our Sparrow Perfect Fit Blind is an easy way to add a touch of warmth and a natural feel to a space. Team with wood finishes and other earthy colours for a cosy country feel or use it to soften an all white room, this adaptable colour can solve many design woes.

    Perfect fit roller blinds are one of the best and easiest solutions for rectangular UPVC windows, attaching via metal brackets that slip in behind the beading of your window. The blind then clips into place and you are good to go with no drilling and no hanging cords. They are not suitable for wooden or sash windows due to the cassette depth of 4.5cm.

    Very happy with custom made vertical blind slat replacements. Just took longer than anticipated but we did have a long Xmas break in the middle so maybe unfortunate timing on my part!

    I had a problem with the electric motor on one blind and was guided through the troubleshooting by Stacey who very patiently talked me through the problems which were largely due to my own installation. The problem appears to have been solved and has probably stopped the whole thing crashing down. I found the team to be very knowledgable and helpful and was advised that if there was a further problem not to hesitate to contact them.
