      The slats are tilted open and closed using a clear plastic wand. This can be positioned on the left or right. We recommend fitting the wand the opposite side to the door or window handles. Please choose what you'd like here.

    How to measure for Perfect Fit blinds

    Remember to only measure the glass size for the width and drop, using a steel tape measure.

    Perfect Fit Drop

    Step One

    Measure the drop of the glass at the left side, the middle and the right side, and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Perfect Fit Width

    Step Two

    Measure the width of the glass at the top, the middle and the bottom and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Perfect Fit Clearance

    Step Three

    Check that you have at least 2.5cm of clearance all the way around the window, to allow enough room for the frame (which overlaps the window by 2.5cm).

    Key areas to check are around the handles and vents, making sure that the distance between the edge of the handle/vent and the edge of the glass is at least 2.5cm.

    If less than this, unfortunately this blind type will not be suitable for your window.

    - A ruler or steel tape measure

    - A debit card or other small, flat, rigid card

     

    Step 1 - Place your card flat against the window frame, overhanding the glass

    Step 2 - Place the ruler's end up to the glass as shown below

    Step 3 - Note down the measurement where the card touches the ruler.

    Our Oatmeal perfect fit venetian blind takes a subtle hint of the brown similar to barley added to tan and seduced by white for a deliciously smooth neutral blend. The creamy tone is reminiscent of porridge with milk inviting a collaboration of these colours as well the addition of light pinks, greys, blue tones and even darker accents.

    Our aluminium venetian perfect fit blinds are the perfect choice for almost all UPVC windows with rubber beading. Made with a specially design spring tension system this blind is operated via a central handle to raise and lower the blind and tilted using a clear wand.

    The frame can be made in white or brown as you prefer and the control wand can be made on the left or right hand side.

    After a search for a blind over 2 metres wide I came across Order Blinds, no where else seems to make wider blinds. The blind is superb, good blackout and mechanism, also looks very stylish too.

    Delighted with the blind/service , the only issue I have is the I should have mentioned that it was being fixed outside the recess, and would require white end brackets instead of the metal ones. You live and learn 🥴

    Ordered perfect fit blinds. The instructions for measuring were nice and detailed. The ordering was simple and the delivery at the expected time. The blinds themselves were easy to fit, althought the instructions mentioned some fitting card, to ensure the right gap for top and bottom bracket - that wasn't included, but it was easy to make one up. When fitting, I discovered one of the blinds was missing part of a bracket, but a phone call to OrderBlinds, with a supporting email with pictures, resulted in OrderBlinds sending out a replacement very quickly. I will say I am happy with the whole experience, plus the blinds look good!

    I originally bought a blind from this company around eight years ago and was very happy with it. When it finally broke this year, I ordered what I thought would be the same model again. Unfortunately, the updated version feels noticeably cheaper; the materials are more plasticky, the overall build less sturdy, and the fit isn’t as good as before. To make matters worse, the delivery took far longer than expected.
