    How to measure for Perfect Fit blinds

    Remember to only measure the glass size for the width and drop, using a steel tape measure.

    Perfect Fit Drop

    Step One

    Measure the drop of the glass at the left side, the middle and the right side, and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Measure the width of the glass at the top, the middle and the bottom and give us the smallest of these sizes in centimetres (cm).

    Perfect Fit Clearance

    Step Three

    Check that you have at least 2.5cm of clearance all the way around the window, to allow enough room for the frame (which overlaps the window by 2.5cm).

    Key areas to check are around the handles and vents, making sure that the distance between the edge of the handle/vent and the edge of the glass is at least 2.5cm.

    If less than this, unfortunately this blind type will not be suitable for your window.

    Perfect Fit Shutters are supplied with a recessed handle space as illustrated above, but you would still require this distance between the glass and any other obstructions such as window vents.

    Perfect Fit Fabric Type - Daylight

    Light Filtering

    Our light filtering base cloth is made from what is often termed as ‘dim out’ or 'daylight' fabric.

    It gives complete privacy while still allowing some light to filter through, lending your room a fresh, bright feel.

    A great choice for many rooms, this fabric is often used in living rooms, studies, kitchens and hallways or sometimes in bedrooms alongside curtains to provide a blackout effect.

    Alternatively you can choose to have your blind made from our fully opaque blackout fabric.

    This style still gives complete privacy but doesn’t let any light filter through the fabric, making it ideal for bedrooms.

    Please note that due to the nature of a roller blind system, some light will leak through at the edges of your blackout blind where the fabric doesn’t cover the window.

    To measure the depth of your window you will need:

    - A ruler or steel tape measure

    - A debit card or other small, flat, rigid card

     

    Step 1 - Place your card flat against the window frame, overhanding the glass

    Step 2 - Place the ruler's end up to the glass as shown below

    Step 3 - Note down the measurement where the card touches the ruler.

    This contemporary leaf design was inspired by autumnal leaves and dried seed heads and is one of our most versatile botanical designs. ‘Meadow Leaf’ is available in 3 different colourways including two grey options and one with a cheerful accent of fresh yellow.     The fabric options offered have been carefully selected to suit drops all the way up to 120cm. The material options are also functional featuring a white backing for a clean and smart look from the outside when the blinds are closed. The blackout option in particular provides a level of thermal insulation and ensures that no light passes through for great brightness control in your room.

    Blind Features:

    No drilling required for installation. Please note that this blind is only suitable for uPVC windows with rubber beading as the brackets slide between the glass pane and the beading. They are not suitable for wooden or sash windows.

    As the blind is fitted to the glass and not the wall or frame of the door, the door can still be operated fully when the blind is installed. Please be aware that the top cassette protrudes into the room approximately 4.5cm so sliding or folding doors may not be suitable for this product.

    Child safe as there are no hanging cords.

    Easy to remove for cleaning.

    Leaves your window sills clutter free.

    Can be fitted upside down to create a bottom up blind.

    Please note - Although the blackout fabric doesn’t let any line shine through it this is not a complete blackout system as some light will leak around the edges of the fabric.

    I had a problem with the electric motor on one blind and was guided through the troubleshooting by Stacey who very patiently talked me through the problems which were largely due to my own installation. The problem appears to have been solved and has probably stopped the whole thing crashing down. I found the team to be very knowledgable and helpful and was advised that if there was a further problem not to hesitate to contact them.

    Delighted with the blind/service , the only issue I have is the I should have mentioned that it was being fixed outside the recess, and would require white end brackets instead of the metal ones. You live and learn 🥴
