    Spring Loaded Blind Pull Options

    We are offer two options for the operation tool on a spring loaded blind as detailed below:

    No Pull

    The blind will have a plain sewn bottom bar or round aluminium bottom bar depending on your selection, with no additional pull. To operate the blind simply hold the bottom bar and pull it down to the required position, or to raise it pull down slightly to release the mechanism and allow it to rise back up.

    Decorative Wooden Acorn Pull

    Alternatively you can choose to have a cord and decorative wooden acorn pull attached to the bottom bar of the blind. The blind operates in the same way but allows you to simply pull the acorn rather than the bottom bar of the blind.

    Bringing to mind lush rainforests and summer pastures, we love how our Grasshopper Green Blackout Blind brings a feeling of nature and optimism to a room. Although it may not seem like it at first this is quite a versatile shade working with natural tones, other bright colours or in dramatic dark decor themes alike.

    These blinds are ideally suited to bedrooms as the blackout fabric blocks natural light and light from street lamps to help you get an uninterrupted night's sleep. The thermal properties of the blind will also help reflect and retain heat in the room depending on the season, providing a comfortable night's sleep.

    The spring loaded mechanism on this type of blind includes no hanging cords, offering child safety in nurseries or playrooms, and is therefore without the need for any additional safety devices. The blackout fabric prevents any natural light from seeping in, providing a comfortable night's sleep. Please Note This blind is suitable for top fixing or face fixing only, it cannot be side fixed.

    • Supplied with easy to fit spring loaded brackets for ease of use.

    • Comes fully made to measure.

    • Measurements are in metric with width first followed by drop.

    • Fabric is 100% polyester and is a 3 pass blackout thermal material.

    Sizing FAQ:

    • To order a recess size blind enter the wall to wall measurement at the smallest point of your window for for both width and drop. Our factory will make a small 0.5cm reduction to ensure your blind fits into this space.
    • An exact blind size is the finished blind size including brackets.
    • Fabric size is the size of the fabric part of the blind only. The finished blind will be 3cm wider than this to include for the brackets.
    • We will add enough fabric to the roll so that when the blind is fully extended the roller tube is still covered.
